NECL is a service  provider network that comprises the laboratories in Portugal with relevant equipment  for the study and characterization of advanced materials under extreme conditions of temperature (low and high temperatures), intense magnetic fields (static and pulsed), intense electric fields, high hydrostatic pressures, and  sub-femtosecond ultrafast dynamics. The services are relevant in diverse fields of knowledge with emphasis on studies of materials with applications in nanotechnology,  pharmaceutical, health sciences, geology, among others.
